HongKong Dim Sum here we come!!! After a good rest, we woke up ard 8am and travel all the way to ShaTin..we switched 3 times train in order to get to Sha Tin. Sha Tin to me is like a residential area liao..Sha Tin mall was pretty big and there is the place where my bro always buy guitar from. My aunt is the middlewoman..hee.. On top, left side, tats my beautiful and always young at heart aunt..

Everytime i visit HK, she surely will bring me some nice places for food.. this time still the same..bought us to a stone built ship resturant for ZAO CHA ( Breakfast).. Thanks to my aunt and her charming boyfriend for the treat.. So pai seh too.. coz this time i bought along 5 friends.hahaa..well..next time when i started to work n have more money, dun worry i will be there to treat her again n again..pls be patient hor..soon the day will come..We almost eaten all the dim sum tat can be found in the menu..haha.. the most filling breakfast i ever had..yeah..best meal so far for OPs Mambo II.. managed to get moon cakes and lao po bing (wife biscuit).. thanks to my buddies here..helping to carry my 2 guitars and all the other stuff.. wooo..juz not enough hands alone..hahaa..
After the great breakfast..here we are.. Peak of Hongkong..there is a hard rock cafe here and we bought shirts from there.. yeah..the scenery was beautiful and WE ARE AT THE TOP OF THE WORLD!!! can even see our hotel too.. great man!! the wind was chilling too.. shiok shiok.. not to forget, we took the tram up.. the tram was fun too like roller coaster..the slope up here so very the steep..

Down from peak by tram..managed to get to sit on Roof Free bus from the bus stop back to the ferry terminal.. oh yeah.. it was great sitting up there.. the bus ride costs HK$3.2.. pretty cheap too.. how i wish singapore has this cheap ride ard city area...

Whats for DINNER?? is KFC....the kfc set here has Egg Tarts and Sweet Corns.. shiok le.. we are to hungry and lazy to find food liao..so we decide to find fast food since we haven ate any since we were away frm singapore.. yummy sio!!
Wanna have new hair style? yeah..early halloween party...while playing in the toy store, we found some nice fake wigs to try on..feel like we are in Maple again, buying for a new hair style.. Rei looks like sweet gal rite? and the harmless wizard Kudus...We found a banner for Ice Berg, "Super Icy"..hee

Taking Trams, MRT, Train, Roof Free Bus, wats next? the Ferry across frm HK to Kowloon..feels good too..unlike taking ferry back to Tekong...hahaa.. and frm Kowloon, we can see a beautiful night city view frm the harbour... again, we setup tripod and start taking night shots for 30mins like that.. the lighting shoot by the buildling was beautiful and cool...too bad the sky kinda cloudy, cant get good shots...

Due to the fact tat is a holiday today, Temple street was unlike the crowded street...was quiet and nothing much to buy compare to Taipei Night Market..really.. very disappointed... oh well.. we headed to Mong Kok where Ladies street and Sports street are there...over there, was so crowded and seems popular..lao lao shao shao all walking ard this area..the shoes here are too many.. kinda like queenway shopping center...every shop selling shoes and sporty goods..looks rather cheap though..but none of the shoes caught my attention.. ah lau bought a pair of shoes too.. rei and i each got a big luggage bag..hahaha..coz we buy too many Mooncake and Lao Po Bing(wife biscuit) so need a bigger bag...

Thats our 1st Lantern Festival outside Singapore.. whats the best part.. Lantern Festival is the public holiday and Monday is also holiday.. wooo weee... din really feel the festive season tonight..kinda sad..not even see ppl play lantern.. maybe we were at the wrong place... oh well.. hope my family has a great lantern festival back in SG...

Tml wil be heading to DISNEY!!! hahaa... back to the hotel ... one more thing was, hk channels not much compare to taipei..miss the tv programs in taipei.. at least every night i can choose 1 out of 3 movies to watch after midnight in taipei...nvm.. we can take this chance to sleep early too!!! oh yeah, before back to hotel, we went to Xu Liu Shan again..hahaa.. for the dessert of course.. hahaaa.. cant imagine the weight we have gained for this 5 days...tml is our last day for this whole OPs.. days passed slow here and was fun.. really will miss this days with my 5 great pals..

Today our last day for OPs Mambo I... time flys.. Rei n I rested the whole morning in the room..really very shag..Lau n Andy went for something new....Foot massage..and bought Tai Yang Bing to bring back SG..Kudus and Rag went out to walk around too..

Ard 12 pm, we checked out and headed to airport for the next flight to HK for next mission.. Here we enjoyed the last view of Taipei... Our luggage had increased ard 50% .. haha

This flight was superb.. we have the whole area to ourselves.. 90% of the seats were vacant.. and had 2 stewardess to serve us all the way.. as if like i was in the 1st class cabin..yeah..the movie on board was good too.. through out the flight not much chance to sleep... the food tasted as good as delifrance.. yummy...

Reach HK ard 5pm plus and our hotel, Harbour View Int' Hotel at 7pm.. we were very the hungry.. so headed for a cafe selling Roasted Meat Noodle.. nothing fancy but still not bad.. follow by the best n famous dessert in HK , Xu Liu Shan..Specialist in Mango pudding.. Singapore has one at Shaw Tower nearby.. but this is the origin and best.. everyday we will eat once i told myself for this trip...Trust me u wun regret eating this.. hahaa..To0 bad singapore only has one...

After the delicous dessert, we went for chilling at the Lan Gui Fang, a place like Clarke Quay, full of foreigners and pubs.. The place was build on a slope.. the crowded wasnt many at the time we were there... juz found a pub and sat down to chill out.. pretty relax feeling.. after few hours, we decided to head back to hotel nearby to take photos of night city scene..wyn and me set up our tripod and started our shooting ambition..heee... the wind was pretty strong as the Typhoon signal no.1 was alerted.. hence it was a windy night.. and the night view was fantastic too...

Yeah.. is the 3rd day of our OPs Mambo..As usual for today..woke up ard 8am and had the same breakfast provided by the hotel...Today trip was all by ourselves...look at the shag face of us in the mornnig.. was only 9.30am..the sleepy look was still on us.. hahaa

1st we went to the Long Shan Shi to get some blessing and pray for good health and better future..It was a pretty big temple and popular one too... Saw a japanese gal look like Xu Hui Xin(Evonne Hsu) too..heee..While we were in there, Kudus hanged ard outside as u know.. he is a holy man..

Ice Berg Giving Mission Orders

"Alright guys now we will be heading to the Sim Lim Sq of Taipei which is known as Guang Hua Market"

Here we are @ Guang Hua Market, a place full of electronics stuff like sim lim sq in Singapore.. MP3 varieties are alot compare to SG.. yeah.. Prices are pretty lower abit then here.. Most of us wanna get some PC Card but din get any.. Not becoz of the price..actually i oso dunno the reason as i din intend to get any..haha.. other than electronic..they do sell something else ard..dun wan to mention wat was it..but it felt like i was in Tower Record or HMV but they aint selling music..hahaa..can say culture shock but i already expected to see something like this..I din get anything from this market , only juz a Allen Iverson designed T-Shirt.. pretty cool.. wonder who can i give too...

Next place we went was Party World .. we sang n ate lunch there.. the lunch were pretty good and delicious.. really filling and had the quality and quantity..Each of us paid 20 SG dollars like tat.. quite worth it.. we sang for 4hours there..

After the great singing afternoon.. we headed to TAIPEI 101, tallest building.. really look grand.. too bad we din went up to the top as the entrance wasnt cheap.. oh well but is ok.. Maybe next time we will go up if got chance.. Frm here we headed to Shi Lin Market again.. haha.. continue our shopping spree.. This time we din eat much over there.. tried out this teppanyaki.. it wasnt really good and i think singapore foodcourt kind one is better.. We spent the whole night there and everyone of us bought quite alot of shirts, sandles, jeans and etc.. fruitful trip..for me, i juz hope can squeeze in all the things into the luggage bag.

OPs MAMBO DAY 2

Morning ppl of Taiwan and Singapore... Here we are @ Royal Castle Hotel..eating the simple and yet healthy breakfast..ham, bread, vege,egg and a cup of hot tea.. cool sia.. better than back in camp.. haha.. Suddenly got to wake up at this hour, 7am, to get ready for today journey, 1 day Taipei Tour.. at 8am the tour guide for the day was waiting for us outside the hotel lobby. His name is Ah Biao, looks like some taiwan old cop with the black big shade.. Like to talk abt feng shui and asking qns..out of 10 qns we cant ans 9..haha..good..this prove that he was knowledgeable and done well for his job.. Learnt that Singapore $1 actually has a 8 "kua" formed in it.. haha bet u din know too ba.. Alright so our 1st destination is Zhong Lei Ci if i am not wrong.

This place is big & spacious..there was this rehearsal going on there too..admire those men out there..the weather is unbearable..hot x 10!! 34 degrees i supposed..woo..nd a drink there man!

3RD ATTRACTION!!

While on the wait to this place, JIU FEN, we passed by alot of bing lang stall..yeah.. nice gals.. the tour guide stopped at one and bought us bing lang..finally we get to try this everyone talk abt food..is a herbal thingy, with a leave wrapped around the nut thingy..haha no chance to take photo of it as we only think of eating..A plastic cup was given to us...qns..wats the cup for? it act like a spitoon..yucks..3 of us share 1 cup..

HOW TO EAT BING LANG??

Bit off an end of the nut. Chew the whole bing lang in the mouth. Spit out the saliva into the cup. Orange saliva you will see..continue to chew and spilt out the saliva..finally spit out everything..

*yucks* awful taste too..one word, " sux!! " haha.. This was 6 out of 6 people who commented. Not putting another one into my mouth anymore. Argh!! But if you are in taipei, and you never try this, is like you never come taipei before..So give it a try..who knows u like this s***... haha... Tot of buying back for my friends to try but it doesnt last 1 day...After eating, its normal to feel warm in the body. .This is best thing play with using poker cards, who lose, eat one..haha

At 12.30pm, we finally reached Jiu Fen..up here is cooling as it was pretty high up the mountain. The road way up here is like initial D man, alot of curves and bends... yeah man!! great driver!!

Up here, alot of ma chee stalls. Selling some local snacks and they taste good..alot of almond smell around..juz turn off me !! Really alot of funny food around here..funny as in i never i see before..Ah Biao introduced us this shop selling local snacks and Beef Noodle stall... bought quite alot of ma chee and pudding..have out lunch at the beef stall.. the soup is great..the beef is well done..plus the dessert oso good n cooling.. IT WAS A WONDERFUL LUNCH !!! UP AH!!

After such a good meal...time for some strolling..we continued strolling ard Jiu Fen till 3pm..Headed to the next place...forget the name but is ok..is a place where you get to see the guard change duty..they have to do a ceremony every 1hr to change shift..shiong le.if my duty at camp is like..i will be mad!! pei fu pei fu!!

After the bath..we were full of surplur smell on our body..wooo.. stink man..wat to do, is good the skin..haha..end up we headed back to hotel 1st to bath before heading to Shi Lin Market

8PM.. SHI LIN MARKET..LAST DESTINATION..

Shi Lin here is very crowded and very "wang". Yesh..alot of pretty taiwan gals..so are the great food we have heard, XXL Cutlet, Da Bing Bao Xiao Bing and the Taiwan Hotdogs...yummy rite?? Plus the Ice Fruits for desserts..wooo...chilling too... Follow by the shopping streets, great deals of shirts..for guys or ladies..1st time i shop for so long..din have time to finish everything there.. after dinner ard 9pm..till 11pm..2hrs nah..not enough i can tell you..we spilted into 3 grps to go shop for our own stuff.. none of us completed the whole place or more than 50%..there are just too many cheap stuff around to shop to slow you down..

best incident we see?? The team work of those illegal stalls..once police arrived, all with discipline and systematically follow one another and retreat..There isnt any commotion, all of them know the retreating drills very well.. very powerful teamwork..haha..within 2mins, all disappeared.

Guess we will be back here again for Shi Lin.. Great place to have dinner, dessert, play games and shop..Next time must come early and prepare more time to explore here...maybe 5hours?? i dunno..back to hotel and have a hot bath, soaking in the water too..wooo yeahh!!

End of Day 2..more days to come!!

Alright is 14th Sept close to midnight... we were back to the hotel... Cheng Du Hotel aka Royal Castle.. So lets talk abt this hotel... Pretty nice n cosy, sad tat my room has no window but thats ok to me... Best part is the TV that has 100 channels.. wooo.. yeah... plus 2 adult channels..haha..and alot of children channels too..

Lets do some recap from the early morning.. most of us slept pretty late.. Rei and Lau took the cab and pick me up.. i am still so shag as i slept at 4am which was like only 60mins to rest.. was mapling till 4am and couldnt take it..so was the rest.. haha..

Reached airport before 6am...wee.. we 3 plus iceberg were on time.. rag n wyn was slightly late.. Look at our luggage bags..4 big hard case..wonder how many more will be added at the end of this OPs.. haha...
Here we go.. checking in and headed for breakfast at BK... Went through all the security and blah blah blah... window shopping inside the boarding area.. aiming wat alcohol to buy when coming back.. Tequila and Vodka.. heee.. someone gotta lend me ya passport sio...

At 8.10am we boarded the plane..flying with Cathay Pacific.. Super cool... everyone has a tv screen maybe i too long nv been on plane...haha.. the movies juz couldnt let me sleep.. watching Longest Yard for the 3rd time within the week.. wah.. i must admit it was a great show.. adam n chris really ROCK!! Since i am legal to alcohol so this time i show no mercy..anyway i paid for the flight so must well.. you know..try to get high on board..haahaa.. after the delicious (2nd round) breakfast on plane.. got a red wine and whiskey coke.. haha..got abit dizzy n tipsy..haha..the red wine din taste tat good, only drank 1/2 and finished the coke..

Here we are in HONG KONG for transit flight to Taipei..we nearly hollanded in this airport while trying to our way to this gate..plus ppl giving wrong direction.. blurred.. guess wat.. we think we saw AH YA from Taiwan..another 1 hr plus flight we be in Taipei..3 days later we be back to HK..

On this flight..once again.. tried new drink, champagne..taste rather good compare to the red wine.. haha..the bread tasted good too..flight meals are nice man! my stomach had the burning sensation too..guess i am done..and watch another show on flight..

HERE WE ARE!! TAIPEI!!!

Around 4pm we reached Taiwan and saw the city of taiwan..the police vehicles, a shopping mall, street of chengdu where our hotel is and a shoe delivery scooter with about 50+ shoes boxes..power le..the city is full of scooter bikes..really..the way they ride bikes are power..getting into very little gap there is..travel faster than car..haha..and got to see Lexus too..mercedes quite alot too on the car..bing liang mei not at all.sad sad.. haahaa..the environment is so different frm SG..the traffic is really bad when we got there..

The hotel we stayed is ChengDu Hotel aka Royal Castle. Nice place. Abt 10mins walk to station..We went to the cinema checking out the price..pretty ex..10 plus dollar(SG)..alot of 24hours shop like 7-11..walked around Xi Men Ting.. yeah..alot of nice taiwan ladies..haha..over there the arcade was crazy over the basketball shooting game.. saw this gal can shoot as fast as 1 sec 2balls..she is juz fast..real fast..can make a fast person looks slow.. haha..our looks were stunned when seeing tat..shoot fast and all went in!! incredible!! then we saw her photo on the shoot out competition, her team was 1st.. wooo.. wonder singapore wil have this game in arcade..great game..Ah Lau and Ice Berg tried too..

For the real meal for dinner..we chosen this.. Xiong Yi .. is a buffet meal.. something like seoul garden but the service is definitely better and the food tastes good..we ate alot here..beef, curry marinated chicken, salmon, bacon, best milk tea they have..wooo.. juz feel shiok!!! the waitress are fast n effective..keep changin the grilling thingy..is worth the price..ard 30+ if i am not wrong..no regrets!! see for yourself, The faces of rag and iceberg..

From here on.. we continue walk and walk ard Xi Men Ting...they got this 3 storeys high KFC.. wah..finally walk till ard midnight.. we decided for a drink.. there we go..bubble tea hut..
